Nydia is the founder of the New Orleans-based non-profit, Blessing Our Women, Inc. After witnessing domestic violence while growing up, and then experiencing it herself, Nydia launched the organization as a way to help other women but also as a way to help present her own children from experiencing the same thing. Her goal was to break the generational curse. Nydia tells about the work of her organization, shares some of her struggles with us, and also details what she sees in her future.
